Please join us at this Quest Field Trip. We will be meeting at the TVC offices at 1736 Holmes St. Ste B at 8:00 am and heading to Napa. The tentative schedule is:
8:15 Arrive at TVC office - TVC Office - 1736 Holmes St, Bldg B – Livermore
8:30 Black Tie Transportation - Departing for Napa!
10:00 - Visit: Hendry Vineyards ---
Napa Valley’s Oak Knoll District. They produce several varietals exclusively from their contiguous estate, doing so under the watchful eye of George Hendry who grew up on the property and knows it intimately. George is a rare renaissance man - farmer, winemaker, and scientist (this guy builds cyclotrons in his garage!) – and will offer our group not one, but several perspectives on viticulture and winemaking. We expect the visit to begin among the vines and to end in the winery with tastings of several of Hendry’s “classically styled” wines.
12:30 - Lunch ~ Box lunches and wine tasting at Salvestrin Winery, St. Helena,
Amid the backdrop of a beautiful small vineyard, owned and operated by a third generation winemaker. He will also take us on a tour of his vineyard!
2:30 - Visit: Chad Alexander at Bin to Bottle
4:30 - Return home
6:00 – Estimated return time
This is a ticketed event with limited space available. Your ticket includes transportation and lunch!
