We will re-open the trail after the Government recalls the closure for wineries. Once the wineries are allowed to open for regular business, we will annouce the date of the final weekend to purchase tickets, and the date of the drawing of winners. Keep an eye out for when the trail will re-open so you can purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win a beautiful hand-painted barrel, and a case of wine!<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Bent Creek Winery<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Barbara Hoffman began building birdhouses after finding some old barn wood at her grandfather&#8217;s Oklahoma homestead. Every piece of wood she picks up inspires her to showcase its natural grain. Bonnie is no newbie to the Painted Barrel Trail, as she has participated in painting a barrel since the first year! Madison is 15 years old and a student at Livermore High School. Madison loves to paint and is currently taking a class in it at school! She jumped at the opportunity to hand paint a wine barrel and show her artistic ability and creativity to the local community. Her current Atelier training at the Golden Gate Atelier in Oakland is the icing on the cake in a long period of concentrated study. One project involved painting the Swiss Alps on the theater\u2019s back wall for \u201cThe Sound of Music.\u201d  The painting was so well-liked, the school kept it up for over a year after the production closed.&nbsp; <br><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img src=\"https:\/\/www.lvwine.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/Page-Mill-Barrel-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1226\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2>Retzlaff Estate Vineyards<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p> Suzy Spragge was born and raised in the Tri-Valley with a passion for art, music, and cycling. She&#8217;s a mother of 7 children and married to her better half, William. She has a home-based business at Cornflower Hill where she uses her creativity in painting, sewing, and hammering a nail or two. Her father, who was an accomplished oil painter, introduced her to the art world at an early age. When Janeen approached her 62nd birthday creativity took a whole new direction. The intricate portraits and lifelike sculptures began to feel too confining and she began to experiment with various textures and acrylic mediums. Her current abstract artworks have hidden meanings and the interpretation is for the viewer to find as she leaves hints and paths to follow.
