Today marks the start of California Wine Month, that\u2019s 30 whole days celebrating my favorite thing: California wine!\u00a0 My only question is, why not 31 days?\u00a0 Lucky for you, I\u2019ve found a way to remedy that.\u00a0 Here are five ways to celebrate California Wine Month.<\/p>\n

  1. Harvest Wine Celebration. <\/strong>Kick off the month and spend Labor Day Weekend with wineries, food trucks and bands!\u00a0 Tickets are on sale online through noon Saturday, but you can get your tickets at any participating wineries on Sunday.\u00a0 Check out the details!<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. The Winemakers Studio at Wente Vineyards. <\/strong>Try your hand at winemaking!\u00a0 This class will walk you through different components of wine tasting.\u00a0 Take home your very own blend of wine!<\/li>\n
  3. Try a new winery.<\/strong> Did you know that there are more than 50 wineries<\/a> in Livermore Valley?\u00a0 Stop by one that you have been meaning to try.\u00a0 Many wineries have special activities and deals throughout the month.\u00a0 See the full list of winery activities here!<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Concannon Cab Camp. <\/strong>For anyone who loves Cabernet Sauvignon, this is the event for you!\u00a0 The Cab Camp features three different seminars covering everything from clones to the Mother Vine. \u00a0Reserve your spot today.<\/a><\/li>\n
  5. Sample wines at the Livermore Airport Open House.<\/strong> On October 1st<\/sup>, so technically not quite California Wine Month, head to the Livermore Airport with 25+ wineries.\u00a0 Sample wines, check out vintage cars and enjoy an air show.\u00a0 It\u2019s fun for the whole family!\u00a0 Details on wine flight packages can be found here.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
