{"id":500,"date":"2017-03-31T11:55:19","date_gmt":"2017-03-31T18:55:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.lvwine.org\/blog\/?p=500"},"modified":"2017-03-31T11:55:19","modified_gmt":"2017-03-31T18:55:19","slug":"spring-livermore-valley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.lvwine.org\/blog\/spring-livermore-valley\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring in Livermore Valley"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This spring is so different from last year! \u00a0The hills are a beautiful green, we&#8217;ve enjoyed a few summer-like days, and no one is frantically begging and pleading with the skies to bring us rain. \u00a0The vineyards are coming alive as well as we see the first signs of bud break. \u00a0What is bud break? \u00a0It&#8217;s when the dormant bud opens and the shoot begins to grow. \u00a0Essentially, it&#8217;s our first sight of this year&#8217;s crop.<\/p>\n<figure><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lvwine.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_1502.1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lvwine.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/IMG_1502.1.jpg\" width=\"531\" height=\"354\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<p>I love spring in Livermore Valley, it hasn&#8217;t gotten too hot and everything feels fresh and new.
