Every bottle poured at Uncorked 2026 has earned a Gold Medal or higher at the California Signature Wine Awards — a rigorous, independent competition held to the highest standards in the industry, evaluated by a panel of respected wine professionals. To pour here, a wine had to prove itself. That’s what makes this evening different.
The Livermore Valley Wine Community (LVWC) is thrilled to announce that its wineries were awarded a record 211 medals in the 2025 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest wine competition in North America. In a true testament to the thriving region, Las Positas Vineyards was named the White Wine Sweepstakes Winner for the second year in a row, which is the first time on record of the competition that a winery has secured back-to-back wins in this category. This year, the winery won for their 2023 Estate Reserve Albariño Livermore Valley CA. Additionally, three wines were awarded Best of Class with another 23 winning Double Gold.
We are raising our glasses in admiration and celebration for our exceptional wines that have earned their well-deserved accolades. With a sense of pride and a heartfelt ‘cheers,’ we congratulate our award-winning wineries for their remarkable achievements.
This year, the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition had 65 professional judges review over 6,500 submitted wines. As an AVA, the Livermore Valley brought home over 150 awards. Pick up these award winners now before they sell out!
Taste Our Terroir, 2015 edition, paired Livermore wineries and their chosen restaurant partners to create what were some memorable marriages of food and wine. This year, 19 winery and restaurant teams went head to head to win over the palates and hearts of both professional judges and the consumers who came to enjoy this annual competition.
