The Global AVA promotes collaboration and exchange of information between winemakers, businesses, wine associations, and tourism and economic development organizations. Representatives of the partner wine regions actively participate in professional development, share knowledge about winemaking techniques and sustainability methods, support student and professional intern exchanges, and share best practices around economic development, agri-tourism and marketing initiatives to enhance tourism and elevate the global presence of the participating wine regions.
Livermore Valley Vintners Collective is a group of like-minded winemakers who are part of the thriving Livermore Valley Appellation. They have undertaken, as a side project, a study in styles with an agreed-upon framework of varietals. It is a contemplation on camaraderie and a meditation on what it means to express one's vision, as part of a group. The group self-selected, but the hope is that each year more of the Livermore Valley wineries will participate, creating a groundswell around this project. Our hope is to have widespread participation in this uniquely focused exhibition of quality and artistry.
The Women’s Wine Collective of Livermore Valley is a community of women working in all facets of the local wine industry, united in our mission to elevate, empower, and advocate for one another. Through regular gatherings, collaborative events, and open dialogue, we share resources, tackle industry challenges, and foster meaningful connection. Together, we strengthen the fabric of Livermore Valley wine—and extend that impact beyond our region.
