Being Kind with Wine

The other day I was waiting impatiently to get through the tolls on the Bay Bridge, seriously, why have I not invested in a FasTrak yet?  However, when it was FINALLY my turn,  the cashier  said that the person in front of me had paid my toll.  I couldn’t believe it and it got me thinking, why don’t we do more random acts of kindness for other people.  Sure, I open the door for the occasional stranger and I say hi to the elderly couple as I walk by, but I can do so much more.  We all can!  Enter the #RandomActsofWineness!

Livermore Valley Wine Country is giving two tickets to Barrel Tasting Weekend every week to people who do a Random Act of WINEness.  This could be paying for a stranger’s tasting fees at a winery, buying a glass of wine for the person sitting alone at the bar, or buying a bottle and sending it to a table at a restaurant.  Take a picture and post it on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram and be sure to tag Livermore Valley Wine Country and #RandomActsofWineness.  Winners will be announced on Friday every week leading up to Barrel Tasting Weekend.

I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to spreading some joy with a glass or two of wine!
