Underground Chardonnay – May 21,

Fourteen local winegrowers will pour their unique takes on Chardonnay, tracing a "Chardonnay Rainbow" from bright and crisp to rich and full. The story runs deep here — Charles Wetmore planted the first Chardonnay cuttings in California on this very soil in the 1880s, and the Wente Clone that emerged is now the foundation for an estimated 75% of all California Chardonnay. Wood-fired pizza, Pacific tide tacos, artisanal cheeses, and live music round out the evening.
