Although we can’t celebrate Wine & Wags together, we still wanted to highlight the adorable winery dogs of Livermore Valley and show them some extra love.
This is Tawny, the official mascot of 3 Steves Winery. Tawny is a two-year-old Australian Labradoodle. She loves riding on the forklift and walking the vineyard. Tawny’s favorite game is playing hide and seek in the barrel room.
During times like these, seeing communities come together always helps lift the spirits of others. Here are just a few kind deeds that have been happening in the Livermore Valley community.
Chef Abe and his team at Garre’ Cafe prepared and donated hundreds of meals to local Kaiser health care workers. Chef worked with his suppliers and vendors to get discounted and donated food, and created a GoFundMe to help pay for the to-go containers. Thanks to the local community, Garre Cafe hit its fundraising goal of $1,500. Chef Abe is hoping to continue to donate meals six days a week for as long as he can. Thank you, Chef Abe, and the team at Garre’ Cafe!

The Painted Barrel Trail will be postponed until further notice. We will re-open the trail after the Government recalls the closure for wineries. Once the wineries are allowed to open for regular business, we will annouce the date of the final weekend to purchase tickets, and the date of the drawing of winners. Keep an eye out for when the trail will re-open so you can purchase raffle tickets for your chance to win a beautiful hand-painted barrel, and a case of wine!
